Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Site Manager with a background in joinery to lead and oversee all aspects of our construction in bridge construction projects on-site. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within scope, budget, and schedule. As a Site Manager, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage resources, and maintain high standards of quality, health and safety. Your leadership will drive project success from inception to completion, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement and excellence.
Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project timelines
- Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Monitor project progress
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to avoid project disruptions
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel
- Oversee quality control processes to meet project standards and client expectations
- Maintain detailed documentation of site activities, progress reports, incident logs, and compliance records.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar leadership role in construction engineering projects
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, coordinate multiple contractors, and manage resources efficiently
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality assurance practices, and environmental standards on construction sites
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, senior management, team members.
