We're looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our friendly kitchen team on a zero-hours, hourly paid basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills while working in a professional and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside our Head Chef, you'll help deliver an excellent customer journey to members, guests and visitors that maximises sales within the Club.
- Preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards.
- Assisting with food preparation and ensuring dishes are served promptly.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards.
- Monitoring stock rotation using first in, first out (FIFO) principles to minimise waste.
- Receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas to a high standard.
- Washing pots, utensils and kitchen equipment as required.
- Assisting with stock ordering and inventory when needed.
- Ensuring the kitchen is fully cleaned and ready for the next service.
- Being a positive ambassador for Crown Golf and providing excellent service at all times.

- Calm and organised in a busy kitchen environment.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Professional in appearance with a positive, can-do attitude.
Desirable
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or commercial kitchen.
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- GCSE qualifications or equivalent.
