The Role
As a Chef at Sexy Lobster, you’ll be an important part of our kitchen team, helping us deliver consistently high-quality food throughout every service.
You’ll be expected to confidently run any kitchen station, maintaining high standards whether you’re working on prep, starters, mains, sides or other sections.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to our recipes and high standards
- Confidently running any kitchen section when required
- Maintaining consistency, presentation and quality throughout service
- Working efficiently during busy and high-pressure services
- Completing preparation and ensuring your section is fully stocked and ready
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness standards
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised and well maintained
- Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Supporting stock rotation, deliveries and general kitchen organisation
- Helping and supporting junior members of the team
- Following daily and weekly cleaning procedures
- Contributing to a positive, professional and respectful kitchen environment

- Knowledgeable about food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends and busy periods
- Positive in attitude and willing to get stuck in wherever needed
