We want to help build your confidence as a Podiatrist/FHP within private care.
HappyFeetUK (Derby) Limited is a well-established foot health practice based in Mickleover, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Podiatrist or Foot Health Practitioner to work with, on a self-employed basis.
The ideal candidate will be willing to commute to Mickleover and travel work in within Derby.
This role offers the opportunity to build a client base, with our help.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' foot health.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual needs, including education, advice on footwear, or orthotics.
- Deliver effective podiatric interventions such as diabetic foot assessments, or peripheral neuropathy examinations.
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance and preventative care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records using 'Cliniko' in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Travel between various community locations to provide accessible podiatric services.
Skills
- HCPC registration as a Podiatrist is essential.
- or/ Foot Health Practitioners Diploma
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment options and health advice to patients of all ages.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to manage appointments efficiently across multiple sites.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering patient-centred care. This role offers an engaging opportunity for a qualified Podiatrist to make a meaningful difference within the community while developing their professional expertise in a supportive environment.
Must Have
- Enhanced DBS Checked
- First Aid Certification
- Public, Professional Liability/Indemnity Insurance.
- (Self-Employed) Have your own company registered available on companies house
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £50.00-£60.00 per hour
