An exciting opportunity to become an ACCA qualified accountant at Andrew Thomas Accountancy, a leading accountancy firm in Scunthorpe, offering personalised and expert financial services for businesses and individuals for over 15 years.
Andrew Thomas Accountancy are looking for a Qualified/Part Qualified AAT/ACCA Accountant to take on a Senior/Semi-Senior Role.
The successful applicant will have experience working in an Accountancy Practice, using accounting software such as Quickbooks, Sage or Xero, and will manage and develop their own portfolio of clients. They will also be outgoing and have excellent communication skills, flexible and constructive, whilst producing work to the highest standards of quality.
The role will be very much that of a traditional general practice position. Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Financial Statements
- VAT Returns
- Corporation Tax Returns
- Self -Assessment Tax Returns
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll processing
- Providing technical support to partners Training and mentoring junior staff
The practice’s ACCA Training package provides a clear pathway for the successful candidate to obtain both the ACCA qualification and the expertise to put it into practise. Full study support/leave and professional membership costs will be met by the Employer.

Salary is negotiable, based on experience.
