With 660 five-star Google reviews and 342 five-star Trustpilot reviews, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Clearance Operator Driver to join our expanding team.
About the Role
This is a varied and physically active position where no two days are the same. You will be travelling to different customer locations, carrying out waste removals, property clearances and associated duties while delivering outstanding customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Waste removal and responsible disposal
- Full and partial property clearances
- Light demolition work
- Packing, loading and unloading company vehicles
- Clearing and preparing work areas
- Working both indoors and outdoors in a range of environments
- Using power tools where required
- Working safely in confined or restricted spaces when necessary
- Completing job information using company tablets and digital job management systems
- Completing waste transfer notes and compliance documentation accurately
- Taking customer payments via card machine or cash and ensuring all payments are correctly recorded
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Average of 45 hours per week
- Typical hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Due to the nature of the business, some days may finish earlier while others may require additional hours to meet customer demand
What We're Looking ForEssential:
- Full UK driving licence
- Applicants must be aged 25 or over due to the company's vehicle insurance requirements
- Confident driving 3.5-tonne Luton box vans
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
You must also be willing to:
- Work in dusty, warm, cold, dry or damp environments
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Wear company uniform while on duty
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of safe driving at all times
Salary & Benefits
- Annual salary of £29,741.40
- Monthly pay of £2,478.45
- Overtime paid at your normal hourly rate after 45 hours per week (unless otherwise agreed)
