Health Care Assistant
Rate of Pay: £13.25 per hour – Increasing to £13.50 per hour after probation passed
Full Time: 38.50 hours per week - Waking nights working a 3/4 day shift pattern over 2 weeks
Location: Bagshot, Surrey.
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our specialist Neurorehabilitation team at CHD Living's rehabilitation centre in Bagshot.

As a Healthcare Assistant within our Neurorehabilitation service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions and other complex rehabilitation needs. Working alongside nurses, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals through high-quality, compassionate care.
This is more than a traditional care role. Every interaction is an opportunity to encourage independence, build confidence and support each person's rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care in line with individual care and rehabilitation plans.
- Support with personal care, mobility and activities of daily living.
- Assist with moving and handling using appropriate equipment.
- Support individuals with complex care needs, including delegated clinical tasks such as enteral feeding, suctioning and tracheostomy care, where trained and competent..
- Observe and report changes in condition and maintain accurate care records.
- Promote dignity, independence and choice at all times.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
What you will need:
- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or in a similar care role.
- Experience in neurorehabilitation, complex care or supporting individuals with neurological conditions is desirable.
- Confidence providing hands-on personal care.
- Good communication skills and a caring, compassionate approach.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
