Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30

About the Role
Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Letchworth, is looking for experienced TIG Welders / Fabricators to join their busy workshop team.
This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for an experienced TIG Welder looking for long-term, stable employment with a successful manufacturing business.
You will be working in a workshop-based fabrication environment, producing high-quality precision components and fabricated products to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out TIG welding and fabrication to a high standard
- Work with a variety of materials and components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Prepare, fit and weld components accurately
- Manufacture precision components to customer specifications
- Carry out quality inspections on completed work
- Ensure welds and finished products meet required quality standards
- Use workshop tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements
- Previous TIG welding experience is essential
- Previous fabrication or workshop experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of welding and fabrication techniques
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
