ABOUT TOAST COFFEE
Toast Coffee is a growing independent coffee shop brand with sites across Essex and Suffolk. We're built on the belief that great coffee should feel genuinely welcoming, easy to access, consistently excellent, and run by people who really care. Our values; Genuine, Welcoming, Consistent, Easy, Love, Defend & Protect, and Never Standing Still, aren't just words on a wall. They shape how we run our shops, support our teams, and serve our guests.
As we continue to grow, keeping every site safe, functional, and looking its best matters more than ever. That's where this role comes in.
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Handyman is responsible for keeping every Toast Coffee site safe, functional, and looking its best. Moving between sites across the estate, you'll carry out routine maintenance, respond to repair requests, and help Store Managers resolve issues quickly protecting the guest experience and keeping our equipment and buildings running smoothly.
This is a hands-on, practical role for someone who takes pride in a job well done and is happy to muck in, whatever a site needs on the day. There will be rare occasions where urgent issues need attention outside normal working hours, so some flexibility for out-of-hours or emergency call-outs is part of the role.
