We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in the health and social care sector. Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities within health and social care markets to expand our service portfolio
- Develop and implement strategic plans to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Build and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, local authorities, and community organizations
- Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions with prospective partners
- Utilize CRM software like Salesforce to track leads, manage client information, and analyze sales data
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor service offerings to meet client needs effectively
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the sector
Experience
- Proven experience in business development or sales within health and social care or related sectors
- Strong understanding of health and social care regulations, funding streams, and service delivery models
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships with stakeholders at various levels
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
