Comserv are looking for a Multi-Trade Carpenter/Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have not only their main trade as a Carpenter or Plumber but will also have proven experience undertaking a variety of jobs in a reactive maintenance environment.
Responsibilities and Duties, reporting to the Supervisor, your duties will include but not limited to:
Multi Trade Carpenter/Plumber: -
- Undertaking all aspects of repairs/maintenance work (given your skill set) to the required quality standards.
- Assessing the work requirements when you get to site.
- Communicating with the Call Centre in an accurate and timely manner via telephone to gain each job and to update the service co-ordinators with the work you believe is required and what you have subsequently undertaken.
- Ensuring that you follow the Company’s safe working practices and safety procedures at all times
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Previous Carpentry and Plumbing experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- A full UK driving licence
- Needs to be good with working at heights, either ladders or scaffold
