Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced labourer/driver/gardener to join our team. As a driver/labourer, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have commercial driving experience and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with flatbed trucks is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
