Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring prompt service during busy periods.
- Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies.
Skills
- Proven Barista experience with coffee-making techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in handling food and beverages.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic food preparation skills for assembling snacks or light meals as needed.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Good basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately.
