Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team in providing exceptional support to our residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that the highest standards of care are maintained. This role requires excellent communication abilities and the capacity to supervise a team while fostering a positive environment for both staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the care team, ensuring that all staff members are delivering high-quality care in accordance with established care plans.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor the performance of team members, providing guidance and support as needed to promote professional development.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records related to resident care and team performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the team, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience within a senior care environment or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with residents and their families.
- Experience in supervising staff members and managing team dynamics.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings is advantageous.
