Semi-Skilled Construction Labourer / Multi-Trade Improver

Delmere Projects Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking semi-skilled construction labourer / multi-trade improver to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who already has some practical construction experience and can work alongside experienced tradespeople while also being capable of carrying out basic tasks independently.
Experience in any of the following would be particularly useful:
- General building and labouring
- Plastering and making good
- Patios, paving and external works
- Basic carpentry
- Roofing
- Painting and decorating
- General property renovation and maintenance
You do not need to be fully qualified in these trades. We are more interested in someone practical, dependable and willing to work and learn.
Ideally (but not essential), you will:
- Have previous construction or property renovation experience
- Be reliable and able to work Monday to Friday
- Be comfortable working as part of a small team
- Take pride in the standard of your work
- Be willing to learn and develop additional skills
- Have your own basic hand tools and PPE
- Hold a full driving licence and ideally have your own transport
- Be able to work across different types of residential building projects
Pay & progression
The position will initially be offered on a self-employed basis at £120 per day, with pay increasing according to demonstrated ability, reliability and the range of work you can undertake, up to £150 per day.
There will be an initial trial period so that both sides can make sure the role is a good fit.
For the right person who proves themselves during this period, there is the opportunity to progress into a permanent full-time position with Delmere Projects Ltd.
We are looking for someone who wants more than an occasional day's labouring. Ideally, we want to find somebody dependable who can become a valued long-term member of our team.
