About the Role
A welcoming primary school in Oldham is looking for a Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to take responsibility for a primary class, deliver engaging lessons and help pupils build confidence and achieve their potential. The school is looking for someone who can create a positive classroom environment and bring energy and enthusiasm to their teaching.
The Role Will Include
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Adapting lessons to support pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
- Assessing pupil progress and using this to inform future teaching.
- Maintaining high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging their confidence and independence.
- Working closely with teaching assistants and other school staff.
- Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues where required.
- Supporting the wider life of the school and taking part in school activities.
- Following safeguarding procedures and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Good organisation and lesson-planning abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
- The ability to engage and motivate pupils.
- A genuine commitment to helping children make progress and enjoy their learning.
