North Bucks Machining are seeking an organised and proactive Admonitive Assistant to join our fast paced, specialist engineering team. In this role you will directly support the Office Manager and Company Directors, ensuring the smooth daily operation of both our central office and precision manufacturing factory units. This is an established position ideal for a skilled administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment and can handle time-sensitive, confidential material with total discretion
Requirements & Skills
- Proven Experience: Prior background in an administrative or office support role.
- High Discretion: Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive, confidential business information.
- Strong Organisation: Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Adaptability: A flexible approach, comfortable splitting focus between office and manufacturing team needs.
- Industry Experience (Desirable): Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or precision parts environment is a plus but not essential.
Tasks
- General admin duties and data handling with attention to detail
- Data entry and filing
- Meeting and greeting visitors and servicing meetings
- Assisting with desptach and receipt of goods including logistics
- Record keeping plus achiving
- Producing documents for production control
- Assist Office Manager with IS09001 and quality paperwork
- Assist Office Manager and Directors with a variety of admin tasks
- Monitoring stock control of first aid kits and receiving general supplies
- Keep office environment tidy and clean
Qualifications
- GSCSE's in Maths and English or equivalent
