HR Generalist
Godalming | Full Time | Permanent, Temp to Perm or FTC | £40,000 - £45,000
This role is also available on a temporary contract of approx. 2 months for candidates who are available for an immediate start.
Please note this role is fully office based. A car driver is required due to location.
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our client’s values driven and dynamic organisation.
Reporting into the Head of HR, this role will take the lead on all day to day operational HR including ER casework and recruitment for the business. The successful candidate will be working closely with Line Managers advising on a variety of HR related matters.
This role would suit a proactive HR Generalist who has had good exposure to a wide variety of HR.
Role Duties:
- Supporting line managers with a range of HR matters.
- Taking the lead on formal ER procedures and managing mid-level ER casework.
- Supporting the full recruitment process along with analysing leaver information.
- Support and advise Line Managers with learning and development, monitoring training requirements.
- Update and amend the HRIS system as required and assist with installing a new ATS system.
- Assist and support with HR administration when required.
- Assist the Head of HR with various HR projects.
Candidate Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified preferred but extensive HR work experience considered
- Minimum of 3-4 years of generalist HR experience required.
- Excellent employment law knowledge and good experience of managing a variety of ER cases.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and positive approach
- Strong ability to build trusted relations with colleagues.
- Good systems and reporting experience.
