Duties
- Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling products when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Monitor stock levels.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while preparing food and serving customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- A culinary background or interest in cooking would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition to assist customers effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Experience:
- Food preparation: 2 years (required)
