Residential Childcare Worker
Location: Flagg, Derbyshire
Salary: £14.50 per hour
Hours: Average 160 hours per month
Rota: 2 On, 4 Off Including Sleep-Ins
Full-Time Position

We are looking for caring, resilient and dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join our team and help provide a safe, nurturing and supportive home for children and young people.
This role operates on a consistent 2 on, 4 off rota pattern, including sleep-in duties. The position averages approximately 160 hours per month and offers excellent work-life balance alongside rewarding and meaningful work.
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes, develop independence, build confidence and experience stability within a therapeutic and child-focused environment.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence essential due to the rural location of the home and the requirements of the role
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional and resilient in challenging situations
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working with children and young people
- Previous residential childcare experience
- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or willingness to work towards)
