Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Swimming Teacher to join our aquatic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to individuals of various ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to the ability levels of participants, from beginners to more advanced swimmers
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to strict health and safety protocols at all times
- Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to help learners improve their technique and confidence in the water
- Monitor progress of swimmers and adjust lesson plans accordingly
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming pool environment
- Assist with organising swimming events, competitions, or specialised programmes as required
- Uphold professional standards of behaviour and promote positive attitudes towards swimming and water safety
Qualifications
- recognised Level 2 Swimming Teaching qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within a swimming environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate learners of all ages
- Passionate about promoting water safety, fitness, and enjoyment through swimming lessons
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
