As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager who wants more than just another job.
We're looking for someone who can become the operational backbone of our business. Someone who takes ownership, solves problems before they become issues and genuinely cares about our landlords, tenants and reputation.
This isn't a role where you'll simply manage a portfolio.

The Role
You'll be responsible for overseeing our residential lettings portfolio while ensuring every landlord and tenant receives an outstanding experience.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll become the senior point of contact for property management and play a key role in developing systems, improving processes and supporting the continued growth of the business.
You'll have autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a residential property portfolio from move in through to tenancy end
- Building strong relationships with landlords and tenants
- Handling maintenance from initial report through to completion
- Liaising with contractors and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
- Organising compliance including gas safety, electrical inspections, EPCs and smoke alarm requirements
- Managing rent arrears and working proactively to minimise debt
- Conducting property inspections and producing detailed reports
- Negotiating tenancy renewals
- Managing deposit disputes where required
- Ensuring full compliance with current legislation
- Supporting junior members of the team
- Continuously improving internal processes
- Working alongside the Directors to help grow the business
- Representing Elite Property professionally at all times
About You
We're far more interested in attitude than someone who simply knows legislation.
You'll probably have:
- At least 3 years' experience in residential property management
- Excellent organisational skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The confidence to make decisions independently
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload
- A calm approach under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving ability

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' residential property management experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own vehicle
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Right to work in the UK
ARLA Propertymark qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring smooth functioning and tenant satisfaction.
- Oversee lease administration, including renewals, terminations, and rent collection.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular property inspections to uphold safety standards and property condition.
- Handle tenant enquiries promptly via phone or email, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and utilise Yardi or similar property management software for reporting and analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and rent setting strategies to maximise profitability.
- Upsell additional services or lease options to prospective tenants during viewings or renewal discussions.
- Lead administrative tasks such as preparing correspondence, managing documentation, organising meetings, and supervising support staff if applicable.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and health & safety regulations across all managed properties.
Skills
- Proven experience in office administration within the property management sector.
- Proficiency in Yardi or comparable property management software is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services or lease options to enhance revenue streams.
- Previous experience in administrative roles related to property management is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: From £27,500.00 per year
