Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a fiveproject portfolio across residential, education, and publicrealm schemes which includes refurbishments and new builds. Our Support office is in Bromley, Kent where you'd be working alongside a well-established and knowledgeable team. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and the chance to influence cost strategy across multiple live sites.
Salary - 55k to 70k depending on experience
Hours - 9.5.30pm
Based at our Support Office in Bromley, Kent with a requirement to travel to sites.
Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor role
Manage cost planning, forecasting, and reporting across all five projects
Lead procurement, tender analysis, and subcontractor negotiation
Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
Work closely with project managers to maintain programme and budget alignment
Provide commercial risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with contract conditions (JCT)
About you:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or fitout
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Reporting and negotiation skills
Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety standards and industry regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement
MRICS (desirable but not essential)
Confident communicator with a proactive, solutionsfocused mindset
