We're one of the leading artificial grass brands in the UK and are looking for experienced artificial grass installers to join the team.
Our ideal candidate can confidently cut, fit and install artificial grass projects of all shapes and sizes, is organised and efficient for projects of varying timescales, and interacts professionally with both members of the public and their colleagues.
We operate all year round with a constant diary of transformation projects lined up so this role is ideally suited to someone who can hit the ground running.
Please note: You will be required to get to our Eversley yard (RG27 0PT) at 6.30am weekdays. We do not recommend applying if you do not have your own transport as there is no public transport to site.
Pay rate starting at £15.00 p/hr (skillset and experience will be taken into consideration)
Duties
- Follow instruction of your Team Leader and/or Operations Department management.
- Wear correct uniform and PPE at all times.
- Off-load and load materials at the start and end of the day.
- Possible collection of materials/equipment from nearby supplier branches if required for job.
- Lift, transport and distribute materials as part of the installation job.
- Assist in the cutting and fitting of the grass.
- Liaise with office as needed to confirm completion or status of jobs.
- Other tasks involved in site, vehicle, equipment maintenance or as instructed by Operations.
Essentials Skills & Experience
- Full driver’s license (provisional not accepted)
- Ideally own transport to get to and from yard every morning (limited public transport), with van provided to get to and from job site.
- Artificial grass cutting and fitting
- Groundworks, general landscaping, construction experience
- Good timekeeping
- Team player attitude
