Production Technician; Gloucester, Gloucestershire; initially temporary with a possible view to becoming permanent; £13.77 per hour
Hours of work: 7.30am-4pm Monday to Friday
A market-leading Manufacturer of High-Specification Industrial Chemicals is recruiting for a Production Technician to work at a customer’s manufacturing facility in the Gloucester area.
Summary of the Production Technician role
Often working with minimal supervision this is a ‘hands on’ customer support role carrying out fluid management duties within a manufacturing environment, following a maintenance schedule. Duties will involve;
· Monitoring and control of cutting fluid systems, lubrication of plant equipment, management and handling of lubricant stock and cleaning of wash machines.
What’s needed for the Production Technician position
Applicants must have machine changeover / setting experience, or basic mechanical / maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing or production environment. Excellent communication skills are also needed in this role and a forklift licence would be preferred but is not essential.
