Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Prep / Barista to join our team. This role involves preparing food items, crafting high-quality beverages, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for excellent service, food safety standards, and efficient time management skills. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Craft a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, maintaining quality and presentation
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently at all times
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts
- Manage stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages
- Assist with general food preparation tasks as required during busy periods
- Handle cash register operations with accuracy using basic maths skills
- Organise tasks efficiently to manage multiple responsibilities within allocated timeframes
Experience
- Previous barista experience is essential; training will also be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and inventory checks
- Strong time management abilities are essential to ensure timely service during busy periods

Pay: £8.00-£16.86 per hour
