Wood Machinist / Joinery MachinistWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Wood Machinist to join our busy joinery workshop. This is a full-time, permanent position producing high-quality bespoke joinery products for residential and commercial projects.Key Responsibilities
- Operating and setting up machinery (Panel Saw, Planers, Spindle moulder, edge bander).
- Interpreting technical drawings, CAD designs and cutting lists.
- Producing high-quality components for Joinery, furniture, and timber products
- Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and quality checks
- Lifting and carrying large sheets and panels (heavy lifting required)
Key Skills and Experience.
- 3 years minimum experience in woodworking machinery
- Experience with CNC programming and operating is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of various timber types and materials
- Ability to work from technical drawing and plans.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 7.30am to 4.00pm
- Friday – 7.30am to 2.30pm
- Overtime available between 4.00pm to 6.00pm (Mon to Thurs) and all day SaturdayPay Rate:
£14.00 to £21.00 per hour
Pay: £14.00-£21.00 per hour
