Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GCSE English Tutor to inspire students and help them achieve their academic goals. In this role, you will deliver engaging, personalized lessons that enhance students' understanding of English language and literature, preparing them effectively for their GCSE examinations. Duties
- Develop tailored lesson plans aligned with the GCSE English curriculum to meet individual student needs.
- Deliver dynamic and interactive tutoring sessions that make learning engaging and accessible.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and discussions to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to motivate students and build their confidence in English skills.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including those with special educational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements for reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians about progress and strategies for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE English or equivalent secondary education subjects.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and young learners in a one-on-one or small group setting.
- Familiarity with special education needs (SEN) strategies to support diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate students.
- Previous experience working with students preparing for standardized exams is highly desirable.
