Role Overview
As a Packing Preparation Operative at Lucy & Lola, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every customer order is completed to the highest standard and dispatched efficiently. Working closely with the Embroidery team, you will be responsible for preparing and packing finished garments with precision, care, and attention to detail.
Your duties will include steaming garments to achieve a crisp, professional finish, carefully removing stabiliser backing, and trimming any loose threads to ensure each item meets our quality standards. Once prepared, you will neatly fold and securely package orders, ensuring they are ready for timely dispatch.
This role is essential in delivering a positive customer experience, requiring a strong eye for detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, quality check, and pack all orders completed by the Embroidery team accurately and efficiently
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and high standards
- Steam garments, remove stabiliser, and trim loose threads to achieve a professional finish
- Fold garments neatly and package orders securely for dispatch
- Ensure all orders are processed and dispatched within required timeframes
- Carry out manual handling tasks safely while maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant working environment
