Overview
We are looking for a reliable, self-employed Part-Time Delivery Driver to support our vehicle rental and delivery operations. The role covers the full delivery cycle: preparing vehicles to a high standard, delivering them to customers nationwide, and handling the on-site handover, including rental paperwork and vehicle condition checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Valet vehicles to a high standard ahead of customer handover (interior and exterior clean, presentation-ready).
- Deliver rental vehicles to customers at locations nationwide, and collect vehicles at end of hire.
- Walk customers through rental agreements and obtain signature at handover.
- Carry out and record a full vehicle condition check at both delivery and collection, including a check for any damage.
- Record fuel level and odometer (mileage) readings accurately at handover and collection.
- Report any damage, discrepancies, or issues to Operations promptly and in writing.
- Plan routes and manage own time to meet agreed delivery and collection windows.
- Maintain professional, customer-facing conduct at all times — this role is often the only face-to-face contact a customer has with the company.
Requirements
- Minimum age 21 (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Clean licence — no more than 6 points
- Comfortable driving a range of vehicle types, including large, premium and commercial vehicles.
- Able to travel nationwide as required; own transport to/from the Chertsey base or delivery start points.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Smart, presentable, and confident dealing directly with customers.
Working Pattern
Part-time, on an as-required basis. Jobs will be offered ahead of time based on confirmed bookings; there is no guaranteed minimum number of hours. Some early starts, evenings, and weekend work should be expected around event and delivery schedules.
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
