About the role.
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take full ownership on the site. You’ll lead the front-of-house team, deliver an outstanding guest experience, and drive the commercial performance of the restaurant day to day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take full operational accountability for the site across all service periods, including opening and closing.
- Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team and set the standard on the floor.
- Own the restaurant P&L — drive sales, manage labour and stock costs, and protect margins.
- Plan rotas and manage staffing levels to match demand.
- Recruit, induct, train and manage the performance of team members.
- Uphold food-safety, licensing, allergen and health & safety compliance.
- Manage guest relations, resolve complaints, and oversee reservations and covers.
- Control ordering, stock and supplier relationships, and report on performance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- 2+ years’ restaurant/hospitality management experience.
- Proven leadership and team-development skills.
- Commercial acumen (labour %, GP, cost control).
- Level 2 Food Safety (or willing to obtain).
Desirable
- Level 3 Food Safety; personal licence.
- Experience in a comparable venue type/volume.
HOURS & PATTERN
Full-time, ~40–50h/week across a 5-day rota including evenings and weekends.
