HGV Class 1 Driver – Accommodation / Plant
Location: WEM Depot
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at our WEM depot, transporting accommodation units and plant equipment to and from sites.
The Role
- Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver and collect accommodation and plant
- Loading and unloading equipment safely and securely
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork
- Working closely with the depot and site teams to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Ensuring all company, site and transport procedures are followed
About You
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence - must have held for a minimum of 2 years
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in plant, accommodation or similar haulage is desirable
- Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
