Temporary Warehouse Operative
Contract: Term (1 September – 30 December)
Salary: £13,219 per year (based on £26,000 FTE, pro rata for contract duration)
Hours: 20 hours per week (Overtime Available)
Shift Pattern: Flexible availability required, including weekdays and weekends, with day and evening shifts.
Operating Hours: 09:00 – 23:00
Destiny Entertainments Ltd is looking for Temporary Warehouse Operatives to join our team during our busy seasonal period. This fixed-term opportunity is ideal for individuals looking for flexible part-time work in a modern, purpose-built warehouse environment.
Job Purpose
To support warehouse operations by picking, packing, loading and unloading, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using warehouse systems and equipment
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
- Work to performance and accuracy targets
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Skills & Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for warehouse systems
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
- Good communication skills
- Warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings within operating hours of 09:00–23:00
