Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Plumbing and Electrics Tutor to provide specialised instruction to students seeking to develop their skills in plumbing and electrical systems. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, support learners in practical applications, and foster a positive learning environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive lessons on plumbing and electrical systems, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Develop customised lesson plans tailored to individual learner needs and skill levels.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners in understanding technical concepts using clear communication and visual aids.
- Maintain organised records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in accordance with organisational standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and confidence-building.
- Utilise IT tools effectively to enhance teaching methods, including online resources and digital platforms.
- Stay updated with industry standards, safety regulations, and technological advancements relevant to plumbing and electrics.
- Ability to support learners with their City and Guilds portfolio and assess their work to ensure it is to the highest standard.

Requirements
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven experience or qualifications in plumbing and electrical systems.
- Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan lessons effectively and manage learner progress.
- Good IT literacy, including familiarity with digital learning tools and resources.
- Excellent organisational skills to maintain accurate records of student progress and administrative tasks.
- Ability to motivate learners and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- A recognised qualification or certification in plumbing or electrics is preferred.
