About the Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals who are keen to learn and join our growing team of Site Services Technicians.
As a Cathodic Protection Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine monitoring surveys throughout the UK. This is a field-based role that involves travel and overnight stays away from home during the working week.
No prior experience is required — full training and mentoring will be provided. If you have a good work ethic, a willingness to learn, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
· Carry out testing and monitoring of corrosion prevention systems.
· Travel across the UK following pre-planned routes and schedules.
· Conduct tests (from above ground) on buried steel structures and accurately record data.
· Replace, repair, and install replacement systems and components as required.
· Upon completion of testing, submit results for approval.
· Work closely with the Field Services Coordinator and the wider engineering team for support as required.
· Always represent the company in a professional manner.
Training and Development
· Full induction, technical & practical training will be provided at our Stockton-on-Tees office and in the field as required.
· One-to-one mentoring from experienced technicians and engineers.
· Basic Safety Passport and Health & Safety Awareness courses.

What We’re Looking For
· GCSE passes in Maths and English
· Full, clean UK driving licence for manual vehicles (required)
· Willingness to travel nationwide and work away from home (Monday–Friday)
· Some experience in fieldwork is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
· A positive, self-motivated, and reliable individual who takes pride in their work
· Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
