Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sandwich/Toasty/Kitchen Prep Person/Barista, good all rounder! to join our vibrant food service team! In this role, you will be preparing delicious sandwiches, toasties, and other meal components with precision and enthusiasm. Your contributions will ensure that every customer receives freshly made, high-quality food in a timely manner.
Experience is essential!
Basic food hygiene certificate needed!

This position is for EVENING SHIFTS/ WEEKEND SHIFTS
We will be extending our opening hours from 4pm until 9pm Monday to Friday, and weekend hours are 10am until 4pm in September.
So im looking for 2 people!
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, toasties, and other quick-serve meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimize waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area, including food prep stations and storage spaces
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, toasting, and assembling menu items with accuracy and speed
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing meal prep and ensuring timely service
- Help with general kitchen duties including dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and stock replenishment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is HIGHLY desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as grills, toasters, knives, and prep tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Basic understanding of serving practices within a food service setting
