We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest hygiene standards, including floors, surfaces, windows, and sanitary facilities.
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards encountered during cleaning tasks to management promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency during operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met consistently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices related to cleaning activities is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
