Looking for flexible, well-paid paediatric Occupational Therapy work across London?
We're an award-winning mobile therapy practice looking to expand our paediatric team. We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist based in or around London who are able to travel to schools across Greater London.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to carry out school-based EHCP assessments and therapy sessions on a self-employed basis. You'll work independently, manage your own schedule, and be fairly rewarded while making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people.
What You'll Do
- Conduct paediatric Occupational Therapy assessments to support Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Produce clear, high-quality assessment reports with evidence-based recommendations.
- Develop meaningful, child-centred goals based on assessment findings.
- Deliver school-based Occupational Therapy sessions where required.
- Collaborate with school staff, families and other professionals to support positive outcomes for children and young people.
Assessment work is offered based on demand. We ask associates to have capacity for up to four assessments per week where possible, although the number of referrals may vary.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist within schools.
- Experience completing EHCP assessments and writing professional reports.
- Confidence working independently and managing your own workload.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and the EHCP process.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Based in or around London with the ability to travel to schools across Greater London.
- Current HCPC registration and the right to work in the UK.
- Minimum availability: Two weekdays per week during school hours (essential).
