We are seeking a highly organised and professional Care Home Administrator to oversee the daily administrative operations within our care facility. Responsibilities
- Managing all administrative functions, including maintaining resident records, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation.
- Financial record keeping, invoicing, and budgeting purposes.
- Handling human resources responsibilities such as staff scheduling, onboarding new employees, and maintaining personnel files.
- Providing excellent communication via phone, email, and in person to residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes to facilitate effective team coordination.
- Ensuring compliance with care regulations and organisational policies through accurate record keeping and reporting.
- Managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general clerical duties to support daily operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in office administration within a healthcare or care home environment is preferred.
- Demonstrable supervisory experience managing teams or administrative personnel.
- Strong background in human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Outstanding communication skills, including phone etiquette and written correspondence.
- Previous experience with clerical or administrative duties in a healthcare context will be advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
