Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Front of House team member to join our service team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and support the team in maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Assist front of house staff to deliver outstanding guest service
- Greet guests warmly, converse confidently and manage reservations efficiently
- Oversee table allocations and optimise seating arrangements for smooth service flow
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist with food preparation and service when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as required
- Manage guest enquiries, criticisms and special requests professionally and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Support training programmes for new team members and ongoing staff development
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and event planning
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality, preferably within a restaurant or full table service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and food preparation standards
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
- Previous experience in serving, upselling, and managing guest relations
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary processes is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership skills

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
