We are looking for an experienced and service-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate brings warmth, attentiveness and professionalism to every interaction, helping elevate the dining experience for each guest. You must be reliable, confident in a fast-paced environment, and able to maintain exceptional service standards at all times.
A successful Waiter/Waitress is polite, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and a true team player—someone who supports both the front-of-house team and the kitchen to ensure smooth, accurate, timely service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and escort customers to their tables
- Present menus and provide clear, detailed information when asked (portions, ingredients, allergens, etc.)
- Prepare tables with linens, cutlery, glassware and condiments
- Inform guests of daily specials and menu changes
- Offer menu recommendations when requested
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS software
- Check customer IDs for alcohol service
- Communicate order details clearly to the kitchen team
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Check dishes, glassware and cutlery for cleanliness and presentation
- Maintain a tidy, organised dining area
- Deliver bills and process payments
- Clear and reset tables efficiently
- Join daily briefings regarding specials, menu updates and reservation requirements
- Follow all relevant health, safety and food hygiene regulations
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service
