Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents, staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Organise and manage cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained efficiently.
- Assist with organising supplies and maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials.
- Support management in implementing health and safety protocols across the premises.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding daily tasks and any issues encountered.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from staff or visitors promptly.
- Utilise IT tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and other computer literacy skills to record activities, update schedules, and communicate effectively.
Requirements
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in hospitality or management roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general IT skills necessary for documentation and communication purposes.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Leadership qualities are desirable to support team coordination and training of new staff members.
- Previous experience as a Domestic Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
