Responsibilities
- Perform overhead cleaning duties using appropriate tools and equipment to reach high surfaces, ceilings, vents, and light fixtures.
- Use commercial cleaning supplies and techniques to remove dust, cobwebs, dirt, and debris from elevated areas.
- Follow safety protocols when working at heights, including proper use of ladders or scaffolding.
- Maintain cleanliness of overhead fixtures, beams, pipes, and other hard-to-reach areas regularly.
- Use suitable access methods for high-level work, including telescopic cleaning systems, industrial vacuum poles, mobile towers, MEWPs, scissor lifts, or other approved equipment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning with a focus on overhead or high-reach cleaning tasks.
- Good understanding of PPE, COSHH, housekeeping, and hazard reporting
- Ability to operate ladders, scaffolding, or other access equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely following training
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive overhead tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
- Physically capable of climbing, reaching, bending, kneeling, standing, and handling cleaning equipment for extended periods
