Job Overview
Due to further expansion, Biggles Labelling Limited require a full-time trainee screen printer to help manufacture decals and placards to the Aerospace industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality printed designs, ensuring precision, consistency, and excellent colour accuracy. This role offers the opportunity to work within an experienced production screen-printing team, benefiting from years of technical expertise and industry knowledge.
This is a physically demanding and varied role in a print shop and office environment, and it is a unique opportunity to learn new skills relevant to Aerospace Industry.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordination of tasks to be completed.
- Cleaning and repurposing of silk screens to a high standard.
- Preparation of correct materials and inks for manufacturing of placards and decals.
- Monitoring print quality and colour accuracy throughout each production run.
Requirements:
- Working individually and as part of a team to achieve goals.
- Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Hard-working, reliable, and committed to high standards of work.
- Confident decision-making skills in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexible and willing to work overtime when necessary, including short-notice requests.
-GSCE Grade C or above in Maths.
No experience required as full training will be given in every aspect of this position.
Probationary period is six months, leading to a permanent position.
Salary review will take place during or after the probationary period.
