We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to support the day-to-day finance function while gaining exposure to management reporting, cash flow, and commercial decision-making. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO, making this a great opportunity for someone ready to step into a broader, more commercially focused role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the month-end close process, including preparation and review of management accounts to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
- Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including invoicing, payroll coordination, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Help prepare VAT, PAYE, and tax submissions
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and reporting to support business planning and decision-making
- Support the year-end audit process and assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles, as well as ongoing internal performance reporting
- Partner with teams across the business to provide financial insight, improve processes, and support commercial decision-making
ABOUT YOU
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified (please note you do need to fully qualified to be considered for this role)
- At least 4 years experience in a finance or accounting role
- Previous experience running a wider finance function
- Strong Excel and system skills with attention to detail
- Proactive, organised and keen to learn
- Inquisitive, problem solving mindset
- Confident working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
LOCATION
We have a central office in Hertfordshire where this role will be based, with time spent on resorts and working from home too (37.5 hours a week Monday – Friday).
This role also involves regular travel across the UK, so a full, clean driving licence and access to your own car is essential.

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
Experience:
- financing or accounting : 4 years (required)
