A rare opportunity has arisen, due to upcoming retirement. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Solicitor to join our family team.

Days & hours can be flexible to suit the right candidate. Exceptionally generous bonus schemes available. Attractive employment package, entirely negotiable dependant on PQE.
The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, separation, finances, children, pre / post nuptial agreements, settlement agreements.
This role offers an opportunity to work within a reputable firm committed to delivering high-quality legal services to clients. The Family Solicitor will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, ensuring client needs are met with professionalism and sensitivity.
Duties
- Advising clients on family law issues, including divorce, separation, child arrangements, and financial settlements
- Drafting legal documents such as affidavits, consent orders, and court applications
- Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Managing a caseload efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of client care
- Conducting legal research to support case strategies
- Liaising with clients, courts, and other legal professionals to ensure smooth case progression
- Keeping abreast of changes in family law legislation and best practices
- Organising case files and maintaining accurate records of all client interactions and case developments
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales
- Proven experience in family law practice is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, colleagues, and external parties
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice, including case management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team
- Compassionate approach with the ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly and professionally
