Due to continued growth and success, 4D Academy is expanding its delivery team and is seeking experienced Construction NVQ Assessors to support learners across a range of Levels, predominantly level 2 and Level 3 construction qualifications.
We are looking for motivated individuals with strong industry knowledge who are passionate about supporting learners to achieve nationally recognised qualifications.
We welcome applications from both qualified Assessors/Tutors and experienced construction professionals looking to begin a career in education and assessment. If you have the right industry knowledge and attitude, we will invest in your development through nationally recognised qualifications, mentoring and ongoing CPD.
About the role
You'll manage your own caseload of learners, assessing occupational competence in the workplace using a variety of assessment methods including:
- Workplace observations
- Professional discussions
- Portfolio assessment
- Product evidence
- Witness testimonies
- Remote reviews and learner support
Assessment delivery will be a mixture of remote working and workplace visits.

- Plastering
- Painting & Decorating

What we're looking for
Essential
- Significant construction industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- TAQA, A1 or equivalent Assessor qualification
- Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS)
- Previous experience assessing NVQs

Salary
Competitive and dependent upon qualifications, occupational experience, assessor/teaching credentials and overall skills.
Pay: £26,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
