Hotel Porter
This role starts at 8 a.m and finishes at 2 pm. Tuesday off.
36 Hours per week.
This roles does involve hoovering, cleaning, taking linen up and down the stairs, including crates of water. Taking fresh linen and bringing down dirty linen down the stairs. Please note the hotel does not have a lift.
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
As the Hotel Porter, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their needs, maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises, and supporting the hospitality team in delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage or belongings.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lobby, entrance areas, and other public spaces.
- Support the housekeeping team by ensuring that all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handle guest requests efficiently and courteously, demonstrating a commitment to hospitality.
Experience
- Previous experience in a guest services or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
