Overview:
Are you a hands-on engineering expert with real-world experience in Process Design and Layout gained within an Automotive manufacturing environment.
We’re looking for a specialist who will be responsible for the certation and development of PFMEA plans support Trim and Final Assembly for a major UK based OEM.
Responsibilities:
- To help identify Risk Discovery/Preliminary Risk Assessment

Create and/or update the Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)

Create and/or update the Parameter Diagram (P-Diagram)

Create and/or update the Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) – ideally with working knowledge of 2016 Standard.

Create and/or update the Design Review Board or Failure Mode (DRBFM) where changes exist.

Create and/or update the the Action & Risk Reduction Plan

Create and/or update the Special Characteristics Register

Create and/or update the Prototype / Pre-Launch / Production Control Plan
Qualifications:
- Time served engineer educated to degree level or equivalent
Essential skills:
- Must have worked within an Automotive environment (ideally Trim & Final Assembly) for a major OEM.
- Must have experience of PFMEA - 2016 standards
