GCB Cocoa UK is a Chocolate and Cocoa processor based in Suffolk who are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operators to support the ongoing growth of our new chocolate production facility. Phase 2 of our build is now online, increasing our Warehouse and handling of raw materials and finished products significantly.

You will be working as part of a small Logistics & Warehouse team, so willingness to be flexible to support your colleagues in their work and meet the needs of the business is key.
Essential skills and experiences:
- Forklift Driving Licence and experienced in driving forklift trucks
- The ability to follow written instructions, quality and safety standards
- The ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels and confidence to escalate any issues to ensure quality and safety
- Computer literate - able to input data into our systems and maintain accurate records
- Conscientious with strong attention to detail
- Experience of making suggestions to improve systems, processes and ways of working
- A passion for chocolate!
Desirable:
Experience of working in the food industry with a Food Hygiene / Safety qualification.
In this role you will:
- Carry out warehousing tasks including order picking, storage allocation and record keeping
- Carry out dispatch duties including consolidating finished goods for daily loads
- Take responsibility for ensuring goods are checked in and out using the ERP system
- Replenishing stock throughout the day, and assisting with stock checks.
- Maintain good standards of housekeeping in line with BRC Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
Working Pattern:
This role will work a rotating shift pattern (Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 17.00 for 2 weeks out of 3; and 16.30 - 01.30 for 1 week out of 3).

- Base salary of £27,900 + £250 per month / £3000 per annum shift allowance
